Assistant Manager Finance

We are seeking a Senior Company Accountant/Assistant Finance Manager who possesses strong analytical abilities and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial reports and forecasts to support the company’s financial health and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete bookkeeping process, including year-end adjustments, and oversee receivables and payables management.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and within deadlines.
- Provide valuable input for business trend analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Prepare and file annual accounts and annual returns with Companies House.
- Administer monthly payroll processing and submissions.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to enhance and maintain robust internal controls.
- Perform month-end closing tasks and handle any additional assignments as directed by management.

Required Qualifications:
- ACCA, ACMA, CA finalist status, or a master’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks is highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Candidates who have completed articles with a reputable accounting firm will be given preference.

Office Timings:
The standard working hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. However, these may vary depending on project deadlines and meetings with UK-based stakeholders.
