Assistant Manager - Financial Reporting

This role is designed for candidates holding ACCA Affiliate, CMA, or MBA Finance qualifications, specifically excluding CA candidates. Based in Lahore at the NASTP location, this on-site position offers an opportunity to contribute to the finance department with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience. The Assistant Manager – Reporting will play a crucial role in supporting financial reporting and accounting operations, with a particular emphasis on the setup, implementation, and stabilization of the Odoo ERP system. The ideal candidate will possess strong finance fundamentals, hands-on accounting experience, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external consultants.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and accounting entries to ensure financial data integrity.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, comprehensive financial reports, and KPI dashboards to support decision-making.
- Conduct reconciliations of bank statements, ledgers, vendor accounts, and control accounts to verify accuracy.
- Support month-end closing activities, including variance analysis and timely financial reporting.
- Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared and maintained.
- Lead or support the Odoo Finance setup, including configuration of the chart of accounts, journals, taxes, cost centers, workflows, and reporting structures.
- Coordinate with internal teams and Odoo consultants throughout the ERP implementation process.
- Facilitate data migration, system testing, user control setup, and post-implementation stabilization to ensure smooth operations.
- Process and reconcile therapist payments in accordance with contractual agreements.
- Identify discrepancies and recommend improvements to finance processes and reporting accuracy.

Required Qualifications

- ACCA Affiliate, CMA, or MBA in Finance from a recognized institution.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, financial reporting, or ERP-based operations.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP or similar systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel with strong analytical skills.
- Solid knowledge of reconciliations, month-end closing procedures, and internal control frameworks.
- High attention to detail, ownership mindset, and effective problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
