Assistant Manager - Maintenance (Spinning)

We are seeking a motivated and skilled professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager - Maintenance (Spinning) within the denim industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of spinning mills, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes. This role demands a proactive approach to minimizing machine downtime and maximizing operational efficiency through effective planning and execution of maintenance activities. The position is based in the S.I.T.E Area, Karachi, and requires hands-on involvement with the maintenance team and coordination with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all maintenance activities related to spinning mills to ensure optimal functioning.
- Minimize machine downtime and enhance overall efficiency through strategic maintenance planning.
- Plan and execute both preventive and breakdown maintenance tasks to avoid production delays.
- Manage the maintenance team effectively, ensuring proper allocation of tasks and skill utilization.
- Maintain and control spare parts inventory to support uninterrupted maintenance operations.
- Coordinate closely with Production and Quality departments to align maintenance schedules with production goals and quality standards.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, specifically in Yarn Manufacturing (BE/BS).
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in maintenance management within a spinning mill or similar textile manufacturing environment.

Additional Information:
This is a full-time, in-person position offering a monthly salary range of Rs70,000 to Rs90,000. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further steps in the recruitment process.
