Hasan Suleman Memorial Hospital (HSMH), a charitable tertiary-care institution, is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional for the role of Assistant Manager / Manager – Quality Assurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and monitoring quality management systems to ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in healthcare services. This role requires a proactive individual committed to fostering a culture of quality and excellence within the hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement hospital-wide quality policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and comprehensive quality management systems.
- Ensure strict compliance with Sindh Healthcare Commission (SHCC) standards, ISO 9001:2015, and other relevant healthcare regulations.
- Conduct internal audits, gap and risk assessments, and lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), patient safety metrics, incident reporting, and oversee corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate quality committees across departments, organize staff training sessions, and manage accreditation-related activities.
- Maintain controlled documentation and prepare detailed quality reports for hospital leadership and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare Management, Quality Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in healthcare quality assurance, preferably within a tertiary-care hospital setting.
- Strong understanding of SHCC standards, ISO 9001:2015 requirements, clinical audits, patient safety protocols, and quality improvement methodologies.
- Proven experience in hospital accreditation processes, regulatory compliance, and documentation management.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- Experience with hospital accreditation and regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
- Candidates must be able to work on-site at Hasan Suleman Memorial Hospital, located at Plot 89, Deh Khanto, Abdullah Goth, District Malir, Karachi.
- The position requires in-person attendance and the ability to commute independently.
