The role involves managing and coordinating change implementation activities related to packaging materials, artwork, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and product transitions to ensure timely execution and compliance. This includes overseeing material switchovers, BOM transitions, Material Master data, and Production Version (PV) maintenance, as well as supporting New Product Development (NPD) implementation and transition management. The position requires executing monthly Material Requirements Planning (MRP) across all plants to guarantee material availability, optimize order balancing and batch sizing to reduce inventory risks, and collaborating cross-functionally to maintain uninterrupted production and supply continuity. Additionally, the role involves maintaining trackers and driving the timely closure of change alerts, material code openings, and related actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize order balancing and batch sizing to facilitate smooth production transitions while minimizing excess inventory and write-offs.
- Lead transition management activities related to BOMs, Production Versions, and material changes.
- Support NPD initiatives through effective master data maintenance and production version management.
- Manage and ensure timely closure of Change Alerts concerning packaging materials, artwork revisions, BOM updates, and material transitions.
- Coordinate and execute material switchover activities to maintain continuity of supply and production.
- Maintain, update, and govern Material Master data in SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Create, update, and maintain Production Versions in SAP.
- Execute BOM transitions and ensure timely system updates to support manufacturing requirements.
- Monitor planning exceptions and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for prompt resolution.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of planning-related master data.
- Prepare planning reports, analyses, and system updates to support operational and decision-making needs.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Regulatory, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to align planning and master data activities with business objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) or a related field.
- Approximately 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Material Management (MM) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of Material Master, BOM, and Production Version management.
- Effective communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple functions.
