Assistant Manager - Production (Pharma Industry)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharm-D professional to oversee and manage daily production operations within a pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, maintain accurate production documentation, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency. This role requires a strong commitment to quality, safety, and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage daily production activities to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Ensure strict compliance with GMP, DRAP regulations, and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain accurate batch manufacturing records and all relevant production documentation.
- Coordinate closely with Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), warehouse, and planning departments to align production goals.
- Monitor production efficiency and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Uphold safety, hygiene, and quality standards throughout the production process.

Required Qualifications

- Pharm-D degree with registration as a licensed pharmacist (valid pharmacy license mandatory).
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant production experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
- Strong knowledge of GMP guidelines and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively manage teams and coordinate with various departments.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information

- Candidates must be comfortable commuting regularly to the site located in Karachi.
- Experience specifically in pharmaceutical production is essential.
- The role requires in-person attendance at the work location.
