NASA Chemicals (Pvt.) Ltd., headquartered in Karachi, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager – Sales to support the Head of Sales in managing sales operations, performance monitoring, reporting, market development, and business growth initiatives specifically for the Lubricants Business. This role requires a candidate with strong analytical skills and a hands-on approach to driving sales effectiveness and expanding market presence within the lubricants sector. Only candidates with relevant lubricants sales experience will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Operations & Business Coordination:
Assist the Head of Sales in overseeing nationwide sales operations and executing strategic plans. Monitor sales performance daily, weekly, and monthly against targets. Coordinate closely with Regional Sales Managers, Area Sales Managers, Sales Officers, distributors, and dealers to track progress and ensure alignment with goals. Support the implementation of sales plans, promotional campaigns, and market development activities. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure timely follow-up with the sales team. Help identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to improve product penetration, distributor performance, and territory-wise sales growth.
Sales Reporting & Data Analysis:
Prepare and maintain comprehensive sales MIS and management reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Develop and manage sales dashboards, performance trackers, and conduct territory-wise analysis. Analyze product-wise sales, regional and territory performance, distributor and dealer effectiveness, target versus achievement, sales growth trends, SKU movement, and market/customer performance. Provide actionable insights and reports to the Head of Sales and senior management to support informed decision-making. Ensure sales data accuracy and timeliness for management review.
Excel & Dashboard Management:
Demonstrate strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the use of Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, conditional formatting, and data analysis techniques. Develop and maintain sales dashboards, MIS reporting, and performance trackers to facilitate efficient monitoring and reporting.
Communication & Coordination:
Manage professional email correspondence related to sales operations. Prepare sales presentations, business summaries, and management reports. Coordinate effectively with Sales, Trade Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and other departments to ensure smooth operational flow. Follow up on sales-related operational matters to ensure timely resolution. Assist the Head of Sales in preparing presentations and reports for management meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field from a reputable university.
- MBA qualification is preferred.
Experience Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of relevant sales experience.
- Mandatory experience in the lubricants industry.
- Experience in lubricants distribution, dealer/channel sales, automotive lubricants, industrial lubricants, or related products is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in sales operations, coordination, MIS reporting, and performance analysis.
- Previous collaboration with National Sales Manager, Head of Sales, or senior sales leadership is an advantage.
