This role is based in Islamabad within the Government & Corporate Sales department and reports directly to the Director of the DICT Center. The Assistant Manager Solutions Pre Sales & Project Management will play a crucial role in providing financial and commercial support for the ICT business. The primary focus is to evaluate business opportunities, manage project financials, analyze profitability and costs, and deliver timely financial insights that enable informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain detailed project-wise financial models, budgets, forecasts, and profitability analyses for ICT business opportunities and ongoing projects.
- Support the development of business cases and financial feasibility studies for DICT projects, identifying cost factors to maximize profit optimization.
- Review customer RFQs, RFPs, and tenders from financial and commercial perspectives, including pricing assumptions, payment terms, taxes, and financial risks.
- Standardize business calculators aligned with DICT business requirements to minimize manual input and reduce errors.
- Assist in optimizing DICT financial processes, including providing justifications for changes in policies such as the 3i1BF Policy.
- Maintain trackers for project-wise revenue, costs, margins, and budgets, promptly highlighting any deviations to management.
- Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, and Regional Points of Contact at headquarters on financial and commercial matters.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports and dashboards for the DICT business.
- Ensure all financial and commercial documentation is properly maintained for audits, management reviews, and internal controls.
- Undertake other financial and analytical assignments related to the DICT business as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline is essential.
- Part-qualified or progress toward ACCA, ACMA, or CA certification is considered an advantage.
- Preferably 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in ICT, telecom, technology, system integration, or project-based business environments.
- Experience in project financial analysis, commercial finance, or business planning is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills

- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Strong understanding of P&L statements, revenue, cost management, gross margin, cash flow, and Net Present Value (NPV) concepts.
- Familiarity with project finance and commercial management principles.
- Ability to analyze Bills of Quantities (BoQs), vendor quotations, pricing, and cost structures effectively.
- Good knowledge of GCSS products and solutions, particularly those related to DICT business.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to create management dashboards.
- Capability to identify financial and commercial risks beyond routine transaction processing.
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus.
