The Assistant Manager, Treasury Operations for the Core Banking Program will play a pivotal role in leading the delivery of a next-generation Core Banking platform at Mashreq. This position involves managing the entire lifecycle of the Core Banking Program, from its initiation through to successful implementation across six different geographies. The individual will ensure timely completion while maintaining high standards of quality and operational efficiency within the Treasury function.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of the Core Banking Program specifically for the Treasury Operations function.
- Oversee the implementation of the Core Banking platform across six geographies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including technology, operations, and business stakeholders to drive program milestones.
- Proactively identify risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies to ensure smooth program execution.
- Monitor progress against timelines and budgets, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Facilitate change management and training initiatives to support adoption of the new platform within Treasury Operations.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards throughout the program lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency post-implementation.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in managing large-scale banking technology programs, preferably in Core Banking implementations.
- Strong understanding of Treasury Operations and related banking processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-geographical projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex programs on time and within budget.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication skills to engage with both technical teams and senior business leaders.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
