The Assistant Plant Operations / Assistant General Manager Operations at Style Group of Industries plays a vital role in supporting the General Manager to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations within a busy manufacturing plant. The role involves verifying raw material deliveries, overseeing transportation logistics, maintaining accurate inventory records, and assisting the production team in addressing workflow challenges. Key Responsibilities

- Verify incoming raw materials and accurately record delivery weights to ensure proper tracking and inventory control.
- Supervise the safe and efficient loading and unloading of transport trucks to facilitate timely movement of materials and finished goods.
- Maintain and update daily inventory counts within the computer system to ensure accuracy and availability of materials.
- Support the production team by identifying and resolving daily workflow issues to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
- Promote and enforce plant safety rules, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe and productive manufacturing environment.
- Assist in coordinating production schedules in collaboration with the production team and plant management.
- Monitor inventory levels and alert management to potential shortages or surpluses.
- Collaborate with logistics and supply chain personnel to optimize material handling and transportation operations.
- Analyze operational challenges and recommend process improvements when necessary.
- Support audits and inspections by providing accurate records and facilitating compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Communicate regularly with the General Manager to report on operational status and issues.
- Assist in training and orienting new staff members on plant safety and operational procedures as needed.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proven problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance in manufacturing settings.
