Assistant Professor – Computer Science

Northern University Nowshera invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Computer Science. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive lectures in Computer Science and related subjects to BS and MS students.
- Lead and supervise research projects, including thesis guidance and support for academic publications.
- Design, develop, and regularly review curriculum, lesson plans, and assessment frameworks to ensure alignment with HEC quality standards.
- Mentor and support Lecturers and Assistant Professors, fostering professional development within the department.
- Ensure strict adherence to HEC accreditation requirements and maintain departmental quality benchmarks.
- Participate actively in academic planning, departmental meetings, and institutional quality assurance processes.
- Lead and contribute to research initiatives, including grant applications and presentations at academic conferences.
- Oversee examination procedures, result compilation, and the maintenance of accurate academic records.
- Provide academic counseling and pastoral support to students, promoting their academic and personal growth.
- Represent the department in inter-departmental and institutional committees, contributing to broader university objectives.

Required Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science or a closely related discipline from an HEC-recognized institution.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant post-PhD teaching and research experience, meeting HEC criteria.
- A strong publication record demonstrating research excellence and scholarly contribution.
