The NUST Business School invites applications for a faculty position within its Department of Finance & Investment. This opportunity is open to candidates aged between 25 and 55 years. Fresh PhD graduates are encouraged to apply, particularly those holding a doctorate from an HEC-recognized university in fields such as Accounting and Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, or Machine Learning. Key Responsibilities
Candidates will be expected to deliver advanced lectures and develop comprehensive course content tailored to the department’s academic standards. Leading and actively participating in research projects is essential, with an emphasis on publishing in high-impact journals. The role also involves supervising graduate and postgraduate students in their research and thesis work. Additionally, faculty members will contribute to curriculum development, academic planning, and participate in departmental leadership activities to support the school’s strategic goals.

Required Qualifications
Applicants must possess a PhD in Accounting and Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, or Machine Learning from an HEC-recognized institution. The ideal candidate should demonstrate expertise in accounting, finance, computer science, and machine learning/data science. Fresh PhDs are welcome, provided they meet the academic criteria and show potential for research and teaching excellence.

Terms and Conditions
Applicants are required to submit scanned copies of all academic and professional documents. The highest education certificate or degree must be attested or verified by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Candidates may be deemed ineligible if they have a third division in their academic record, a weak academic profile, or if they are currently pursuing the required degree. NUST employees with less than one year of service or those without a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their Head of Institution will not be considered.

Medical fitness is mandatory for all applicants. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further assessment, including tests and interviews. No travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided for these stages. Candidates currently serving in government departments or the armed forces must apply through their respective parent organizations. Late or incomplete applications will not be entertained.
