Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver advanced lectures and develop course materials tailored to the curriculum.
- Lead and contribute to research initiatives, ensuring publication in reputable journals.
- Supervise graduate and postgraduate students in their research projects and thesis preparation.
- Participate in curriculum development and academic planning to maintain and improve educational standards.
- Engage in departmental leadership and administrative duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized University or Institution.
- Master’s Degree (Foreign) / M.Phil. or an equivalent degree awarded after 19 years of education in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized University or Institution.
- First Professional Degree (minimum 5 years, First Division) from an HEC-recognized University or Institution.
Experience:
- No experience required for candidates holding a Ph.D.
- For candidates with an MS qualification, a minimum of 3 years of teaching or research experience at an HEC-recognized University, postgraduate institution, or professional experience in a relevant field within a national or international organization is required.
- For Ph.D. qualified candidates, a minimum of 5 years of teaching or research experience at an HEC-recognized University, postgraduate institution, or relevant professional experience in a national or international organization is preferred.
Additional Terms and Conditions:
Applicants must submit scanned copies of all academic and professional documents. The highest education certificate or degree must be attested or verified by HEC. Candidates may be deemed ineligible if they have a third division in their academic record or an overall weak academic profile. Current employees of NUST with less than one year of service or without a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their Head of Institution will not be considered. Candidates who are still pursuing the required degree or are medically unfit will also be disqualified. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and issued offer letters. Applicants currently employed in government departments or armed forces should apply through their respective parent organizations. Late or incomplete applications will not be entertained. No travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided for test or interview attendance. The institution reserves the right to cancel, modify, or terminate the recruitment process at any stage without prior notice.
