Assistant Project Manager – AV Systems & Home Automation

Located in Karachi, this full-time Assistant Project Manager role is ideal for candidates with 2 to 3 years of experience specializing in Audiovisual (AV) Systems, Home Automation, Lighting Control, and Smart Building Technologies. The position is based onsite within the Technical Operations department, offering a competitive salary range of PKR 90,000 to 130,000, negotiable based on experience. Working hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays required.

Key Responsibilities
The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for conducting technical research related to AV systems, home automation, lighting control, and smart technologies. This includes reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), technical drawings, system layouts, and equipment specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility. Coordination with engineering, design, and installation teams is essential to maintain seamless project execution.

The role involves reviewing AV integration plans, lighting control systems, and equipment selections to identify any technical discrepancies and recommend effective solutions. Supporting system programming, configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting is a critical part of the job. The candidate must ensure that all technical solutions align with project specifications, client requirements, and approved budgets.

Additionally, the Assistant Project Manager will liaise with vendors and technology partners to resolve technical issues promptly. Maintaining comprehensive technical documentation and supporting overall project execution are also key duties.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in AV systems, home automation, lighting control, or smart building technologies is required. Practical knowledge of system integration, programming, and commissioning is essential.

The ability to interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and system specifications accurately is necessary for success in this role. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and project coordination capabilities are also important.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
