We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a DAE (Civil) qualification and possess practical experience in surveying, particularly within housing society or construction projects. This role requires hands-on knowledge of surveying equipment and techniques, with the ability to work effectively on-site to support various civil engineering activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Surveyor in conducting land and construction surveys.
- Operate surveying equipment including Total Station, GPS, and Auto Level/Level instruments.
- Take precise measurements, levels, and coordinates at project sites.
- Support the setting out of roads, plots, infrastructure, and other civil works.
- Maintain accurate records of survey data and measurements.
- Coordinate closely with site engineers and construction teams to ensure smooth workflow.
- Ensure all surveying tasks are performed accurately in accordance with civil drawings and project specifications.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil from a recognized institute.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in surveying.
- Practical knowledge and proficiency in using Total Station, GPS, and Auto Level/Level equipment.
- Ability to carry out site measurements, levels, alignments, and other surveying activities with precision.
- Competence in reading and interpreting civil drawings and site plans.
- Solid understanding of basic surveying techniques and construction practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to work on construction sites as required.
