This role involves managing daily cash and bank positions while maintaining strong relationships with banking partners to ensure smooth treasury operations. The candidate will be responsible for recording bank profits and charges in the ERP system, preparing bank reconciliations, and summarizing direct deposits to ensure timely recording within the same month. Coordination with the disbursement team is essential to ensure all payment entries are posted before month-end closing. The role also includes facilitating both internal and external audits related to bank reconciliations and arranging bank confirmations during external audits.
The position requires close coordination with banks regarding donations, grants, or reversals received in accounts, as well as monthly recording of foreign currency exchange gains or losses. Compliance management for bank accounts is critical, including updating authorized signatories, Board members, and Directors. The candidate will also handle inward and outward foreign currency remittances, maintaining a detailed tracker with all settlement information. Reviewing treasury procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance with financial policies and delegated authorities is a key part of the job. Additional tasks may be assigned by the line manager as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily cash and bank position reports.
- Maintain and strengthen banking relationships to support treasury operations and resolve issues.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance (BBA/MBA Finance) or ACCA Part qualified.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in treasury, accounting, or finance roles.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Hands-on experience working with ERP systems.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
