Assistant/Junior Accountant

Homemade Cuisine, a company specializing in gluten-free foods, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior/Assistant Accountant to join their finance team at their Lahore office, located on Chung, Multan Road, about 15 minutes ahead of Thoker Niaz Baig. This in-person role involves supporting the finance department by handling various accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and working closely with other departments to maintain overall financial integrity. The position offers a monthly salary of Rs40,000 and provides an excellent opportunity to develop a career within a niche segment of the food industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports to support management decisions.
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and data entry to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Regularly reconcile accounts and bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely and efficient manner.
- Support payroll processing activities to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
- Provide assistance during internal and external audits by preparing required documents and information.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar accounting role, demonstrating familiarity with accounting processes.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
