Associate Consultant SAP SuccessFactors

The Associate Consultant SAP SuccessFactors plays a vital role in supporting the implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of SuccessFactors modules within organizations or client environments. This junior functional consultant collaborates closely with senior consultants, HR teams, and technical staff to deliver effective HR solutions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless automation of HR processes on the SuccessFactors platform. The position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR technology while contributing to successful project delivery and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Support & Configuration: Assist in configuring various SAP SuccessFactors modules such as Employee Central, Performance & Goals Management, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning Management System (LMS), and Compensation. Participate in requirement-gathering workshops and document functional specifications. Support data migration efforts by preparing templates, validating data, and mapping information accurately. Perform basic configuration tasks, conduct testing, and resolve issues under the guidance of senior consultants.

Implementation Assistance: Support end-to-end project activities including design, build, testing, and deployment phases. Help create process flow diagrams, configuration workbooks, and user guides. Participate in system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), troubleshooting functional defects as they arise. Assist in preparing training materials and conducting user training sessions when necessary.

Integration & Data Management: Aid in data loading activities using tools such as Import Templates, Integration Center, or Provisioning tasks where applicable. Support integration testing efforts involving SAP HCM, third-party payroll systems, or other HR-related tools. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across different modules to maintain system integrity.

Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support to SuccessFactors users by responding to basic support tickets. Assist in resolving configuration issues and troubleshooting system errors, escalating technical problems to senior team members when needed. Participate in release management activities, including regression testing during quarterly software updates.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

Technical Skills: Basic understanding of SAP SuccessFactors modules gained through training, certification, internships, or academic projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP, data cleaning, and formatting. Familiarity with HR processes such as hiring, onboarding, performance management cycles, and employee data management.

Soft Skills: Strong communication and documentation abilities. Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail. Ability to collaborate effectively within teams and follow guidance from senior consultants. Demonstrated eagerness to learn and develop professionally in a consulting environment.
