We are seeking an entry-level DevOps Engineer with 0 to 2 years of experience in DevOps, cloud, systems, or related projects. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of Linux, networking, Git, and scripting, along with familiarity with CI/CD concepts and at least one pipeline tool. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and basic knowledge of Docker, monitoring, and infrastructure security are essential. This role requires strong learning ability, troubleshooting skills, and effective communication, with a proactive approach to collaboration and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows to ensure smooth and reliable software delivery.
- Support provisioning, configuration, and routine maintenance of cloud resources across various platforms.
- Help manage Docker containers, Kubernetes workloads, and environment setups to facilitate scalable application deployment.
- Monitor system health by reviewing logs, alerts, and infrastructure metrics to identify and address potential issues.
- Participate in incident triage, escalation, and documentation to support timely resolution and knowledge sharing.
- Assist with access management, secrets handling, backups, and adherence to operational checklists to maintain security and reliability.
- Maintain up-to-date infrastructure documentation and runbooks to support team knowledge and operational consistency.
- Collaborate effectively with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to align on project goals and operational standards.
Required Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in DevOps, cloud, systems, or relevant projects.
- Basic understanding of Linux operating systems, networking fundamentals, Git version control, and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) concepts and experience with at least one pipeline tool.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Tencent Cloud.
- Awareness of containerization technologies like Docker and basic knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and security practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to learn quickly, and effective documentation and communication capabilities.
- Experience or exposure to Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions is highly desirable.
- Relevant cloud or DevOps certifications that demonstrate foundational knowledge.
- Academic or personal projects involving cloud deployment or automation to showcase practical application of skills.
- Willingness to learn under guidance, demonstrating operational discipline and attention to detail.
- Proactive in escalating risks and incidents while maintaining reliable collaboration and documentation practices.
