Associate DevOps Engineer (Onsite, Karachi, PKR Salary)

We are seeking an entry-level DevOps professional with 0 to 2 years of experience in DevOps, cloud, or systems engineering. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of Linux, networking, Git, and scripting, along with familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) concepts. Key Responsibilities

- Assist in maintaining and supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows to ensure smooth and reliable software delivery.
- Support cloud resource provisioning, configuration, and routine maintenance activities to maintain operational efficiency.
- Help manage Docker containers, Kubernetes workloads, and environment setup to facilitate containerized application deployment.
- Monitor system health by reviewing logs, alerts, and infrastructure metrics to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Participate in incident triage, escalation, and documentation to support timely resolution and knowledge sharing.
- Assist with access management, secrets handling, backups, and adherence to operational checklists to maintain security and compliance.
- Maintain comprehensive infrastructure documentation and runbooks to support team knowledge and operational continuity.
- Collaborate effectively with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment and smooth delivery of projects.

Required Qualifications

- 0–2 years of experience in DevOps, cloud, systems, or relevant project work, with a basic understanding of Linux, networking, Git, and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and experience using at least one pipeline tool.
- Basic exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Awareness of containerization technologies like Docker, as well as monitoring tools and infrastructure security principles.
- Strong learning aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to document processes clearly.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively within teams and escalate issues when necessary.
- Exposure to Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions is desirable.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Tencent Cloud, Azure, or others.
- Relevant certifications in cloud or DevOps domains are a plus.
- Academic or personal projects involving cloud deployment or automation demonstrate practical experience.
- Willingness to learn under guidance, maintain strong operational discipline, and pay close attention to detail.
- Proactive approach to escalating risks and incidents, along with reliable collaboration and documentation practices.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
