Associate Engineer Haier Lahore

Haier is seeking a QMS & Internal Audit Associate Engineer – P1 to join its team at the Raiwind Road facility in Lahore. This role is ideal for quality professionals or engineers with 3 to 5 years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS), internal auditing, or QMS documentation. The position involves supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Haier’s management systems, with a focus on ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 standards. The candidate will work closely with shop-floor operations to verify that documented procedures are properly followed and maintained.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the internal audit framework, including the Internal Audit Plan, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Quality Policy, and Quality Objectives, aligned with ISO 9001:2015 requirements. Manage QMS document control by overseeing document versioning, coding, master document lists, and QMS records, ensuring all departments use the correct controlled documents. Conduct internal audits to verify that processes comply with documented procedures and management system standards, assessing both documentation and actual shop-floor practices. Perform risk assessments and gap analyses to identify compliance weaknesses and opportunities for improvement. Manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and non-conformities by ensuring timely documentation, tracking, corrective measures, follow-up, and closure of issues. Support preparation and maintenance of documentation and evidence for external certification and surveillance audits, coordinating with auditors and process owners as needed.

Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management or Mechanical Engineering is mandatory. Candidates must have 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in Quality Management Systems, internal auditing, or QMS documentation. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 standards is essential. Practical experience in implementing or auditing these standards should be clearly demonstrated. Candidates should be comfortable working in a manufacturing or operational environment, combining documentation responsibilities with hands-on auditing and process verification.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Additional certifications such as ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or related quality management and auditing training will strengthen an application but are not mandatory. Experience with CAPA, root-cause analysis, SOP management, document control, non-conformity management, and audit reporting is highly valued.
