TCP (TimeClock Plus) is seeking an Associate Growth Account Executive to manage and expand a portfolio of existing customers. This role focuses on identifying new revenue opportunities within current accounts by prospecting into additional products, departments, or locations. The ideal candidate will own the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to closing deals, and will be responsible for building a robust pipeline through outbound prospecting. This position requires a proactive sales professional with a proven ability to navigate complex accounts and generate new business, rather than solely managing renewals or customer relationships. TCP values diversity and inclusion and does not sponsor visas for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect within assigned accounts to uncover upsell and cross-sell opportunities across products, departments, and locations.
- Manage the entire sales process, including discovery, stakeholder engagement, product demonstrations, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
- Consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales revenue quotas targeting mid-market customers.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline at three times quota through self-generated outbound activity.
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments across various customer groups, including technical teams, line of business, and executives.
- Align TCP’s capabilities with customer business objectives, identifying gaps between current and desired outcomes.
- Keep accurate and current account and opportunity records in Salesforce.
- Provide disciplined and precise weekly revenue forecasts.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to stay informed on account health while independently driving expansion sales efforts.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience with full ownership of the sales cycle from prospecting to close.
- Proven success in identifying and selling to new stakeholders within existing accounts, beyond maintaining current relationships.
- Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas with quantifiable results.
- Experience selling considered purchases involving discovery, multiple conversations, and a structured sales process. SaaS or software sales experience is preferred; backgrounds in payroll services, HR consulting, staffing, or managed services are also relevant.
- Ability to manage a high-volume account book and prioritize outbound prospecting activities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover business challenges, not just technical needs.
- Strong capability to connect product features to business outcomes and build compelling value propositions.
- Demonstrated success in outbound prospecting and pipeline generation through cold outreach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to director and VP-level stakeholders.
- Clear understanding of the boundary between expansion sales and Customer Success responsibilities.
- Experience managing multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers.
- Strong pipeline hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and consistent CRM usage, preferably Salesforce.
- Familiarity with sales tools such as Gong, Outreach, and Clay is a plus.
- Experience working with channel partners or navigating RFP processes is advantageous.
- Growth mindset, openness to feedback, accountability for results, and resilience in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
- Collaborative approach working closely with Customer Success, Solutions Consultants, and other internal teams.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods while working at a computer.
Benefits
- Competitive salary package.
- Paid time off and sick leave.
- Comprehensive health insurance covering inpatient and outpatient care.
- Provident fund and EOBI benefits.
- Flexible work/life arrangements to support individual success.
- A creative, collaborative, and supportive environment that encourages autonomy, skill development, and innovation.
- Opportunities to make a meaningful impact on company growth.
- Challenging work that promotes personal and professional growth.
- The chance to work alongside talented professionals in a rapidly growing organization that values its team.
