Associate II - VLSI AL MB

We are seeking a skilled Analog Layout Engineer with expertise in high-speed custom analog and digital block layouts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing complex blocks such as ring oscillators, dividers, bias blocks (voltage and current references), and pre-drivers, particularly in advanced technology nodes like TSMC 2nm and 3nm. This role requires a proactive individual who can independently debug and resolve layout issues across various verification flows, take ownership of assigned tasks, and deliver high-quality layout designs with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design custom layouts for high-speed analog and digital blocks including ring oscillators, dividers, bias blocks, and pre-drivers using advanced process nodes such as TSMC 2nm and 3nm.
- Independently debug and resolve layout fixes identified during different verification flows to ensure design integrity.
- Adapt to various project requirements by taking on diverse tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a collaborative mindset.
- Execute assigned tasks efficiently with minimal supervision, maintaining accountability and ownership throughout the project lifecycle.
- Complete layout designs that meet quality standards and pass all specified verification flows without issues.
- Create and verify all relevant design views using sign-off tools to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Prepare and maintain documentation as required to support design and verification processes.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Tech/B.E./M.E./M.Tech).
- Proven hands-on experience in block and module layout design using Cadence layout tools.
- Experience working with TSMC 5nm or more advanced technology nodes is essential.
- Proficiency in layout design and verification tools such as Cadence Virtuoso EXL/GXL and Calibre.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as SHELL, PERL, and SKILL to automate and streamline layout and verification tasks.
- Basic knowledge of Excel for data management and reporting is advantageous.
