We are seeking a motivated and technically inclined Associate IT Network Officer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 months of relevant experience in IT support, networking, or system administration, along with a strong willingness to learn and grow within a professional IT environment. This role offers hands-on training and guidance while supporting the organization’s network, systems, hardware, and daily IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, network, and connectivity-related issues.
- Assist in troubleshooting LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, Internet connectivity, DNS, DHCP, and IP-related problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, operating systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Support Windows and Linux systems and assist with basic system administration tasks.
- Assist with user account management, email, and network access.
- Help configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.
- Respond to IT support tickets, calls, and emails, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Maintain IT asset and inventory records accurately.
- Assist with backup procedures, security measures, and other IT infrastructure activities.
- Support the implementation of IT security practices in line with ISO 27001 requirements.
- Perform additional IT support and infrastructure tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Networking, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 months of relevant experience in IT support, networking, or system administration.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, and IP addressing.
- Fundamental troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems; familiarity with Linux is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of network devices including routers, switches, and access points.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and participate in hands-on training.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Knowledge of Azure, AWS, VMware, or ISO 27001 standards will be considered an advantage.
