Associate Professor - Cyber Security

Air University is seeking qualified candidates for two faculty positions in the Cyber Security department at its Main Campus in Islamabad. The ideal applicants will hold a Doctorate (PhD) in Cyber Security from an HEC-recognized university, with relevant publications and experience that meet the Higher Education Commission’s appointment criteria. Candidates with foreign qualifications must provide an HEC equivalence letter, and all applicants are required to submit attested copies of their terminal degree and transcripts from HEC upon joining. Experience in online teaching is also essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction in Cyber Security courses both in-person and online.
- Develop and update curriculum to align with current industry standards and academic research.
- Supervise student research projects and theses.
- Engage in scholarly research and publish findings in reputable journals.
- Participate in departmental and university committees and contribute to academic development initiatives.
- Mentor students and provide academic guidance.

Required Qualifications:
- Doctorate (PhD) in Cyber Security from an HEC-recognized university.
- Publications and professional experience as per HEC appointment criteria.
- HEC attested terminal degree and transcript; for foreign degrees, an HEC equivalence certificate is mandatory.
- Proven experience in online teaching methodologies.
