The Associate - Research and Partnership role is a full-time, onsite position based in Islamabad, offering a monthly salary starting at PKR 60,000. This role involves conducting detailed research and supporting partnership initiatives within a dynamic financial services intelligence environment. The successful candidate will engage in comprehensive analysis of businesses and financial institutions, focusing on strategic developments, market positioning, and emerging trends in areas such as Islamic finance, ESG, and social finance. Additionally, the role requires managing outreach efforts to potential partners and stakeholders, drafting professional communications, and providing operational support for key programmes and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth desk research on businesses, financial institutions, banks, corporates, and related organizations, analyzing growth trajectories, financial performance, leadership profiles, and market positioning.
- Analyze industry trends, country-level developments, and thematic areas including Islamic finance, ESG/sustainability, good governance, wealth management, and social finance.
- Prepare structured research briefs, company profiles, nominee assessments, comparative analyses, and supporting documentation for awards, reports, and programme development.
- Maintain and update research databases, track emerging organizations, and monitor relevant news, reports, and regulatory developments.
- Identify and prioritize potential partner organizations, sponsors, collaborators, speakers, nominees, and institutional stakeholders aligned with programme objectives.
- Draft tailored outreach emails and follow-up communications, ensuring professional tone and high-quality written English suitable for senior-level engagement.
- Manage ongoing correspondence, track responses, maintain accurate records of interactions, and support the progression of partnership discussions.
- Assist in preparing partnership proposals, sponsorship packages, Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), and other supporting materials.
- Provide operational and coordination support for research and partnership workstreams linked to major programmes and events.
- Undertake any other duties reasonably required to support the Research and Partnerships function.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of research experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Extensive research skillset with the ability to conduct detailed and structured analysis.
- Proficiency in writing email marketing content.
- Professional and advanced level of English language skills.
- Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Islamabad before starting work.
