We are seeking a skilled Python Backend Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services and APIs that support our web applications. You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and UX designers to create scalable and reliable digital solutions that enhance user experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop robust REST APIs using FastAPI and Django frameworks.
- Build modular and scalable backend services following microservices architecture principles.
- Optimize application performance through threading and multiprocessing techniques.
- Implement event-driven programming to facilitate efficient inter-service communication.
- Manage complex database operations involving both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Perform data migration, transformation, and scripting tasks as required.
- Maintain high code quality and manage version control using Git.
- Collaborate within an Agile development environment to deliver features iteratively and efficiently.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Python development.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with FastAPI.
- Strong proficiency in Django and familiarity with other Python frameworks such as Flask.
- Experience working with SQL databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases including MongoDB and Redis.
- Solid understanding of Python’s threading model and asynchronous programming concepts.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Deep understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with Celery for task queuing and asynchronous job management.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Understanding of Kubernetes for container orchestration.

The position offers a competitive salary starting from Rs 100,000 per month. This is an in-person role, providing the opportunity to collaborate directly with a dynamic and innovative team.
