Soft Stallions is seeking an Associate Full Stack Engineer with 2 to 3 years of experience, specializing in React.js with a strong frontend focus. This full-time contract position offers a hybrid work model based in Lahore or Islamabad, Pakistan. The role involves contributing to both frontend and backend development, primarily working with React.js alongside Python and/or Node.js, and leveraging AWS infrastructure to build reliable and scalable applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance full-stack applications using React.js and Python/Node.js.
- Create backend services and APIs integrated with AWS services such as Lambda, Amplify, API Gateway, and RDS/MySQL.
- Build reusable React.js components that are responsive and maintain consistent behavior across platforms.
- Develop and connect RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services, managing loading states, errors, and data updates effectively.
- Implement WebSocket-based features to support real-time updates where necessary.
- Participate actively in code reviews, improve test coverage, and maintain clear technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance across frontend and backend systems.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in React.js, Python, Node.js, modern web technologies, and cloud services.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on React.js and frontend engineering.
- Proficient in JavaScript, including practical experience with React Hooks, component lifecycles, reusable components, and frontend performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Redux or similar state management libraries, and middleware such as Redux Saga or Redux Thunk for handling asynchronous workflows.
- Solid understanding of component-based architecture, responsive design principles, and building maintainable user interfaces.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL, with a focus on handling data loading, error states, and updates.
- Backend development skills using Python and/or Node.js.
- Working knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, Amplify, API Gateway, and RDS/MySQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for usability and code quality.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new business domains and translate requirements into functional features.
