We are looking for a motivated Associate SQA Engineer to join our team at Bahria Town, Lahore. This on-site role is ideal for fresh graduates and professionals who have a solid foundation in software quality assurance. The successful candidate will work closely with the development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products through comprehensive testing and quality control processes. Immediate availability is required, with onboarding scheduled for Monday, 28 September.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute manual testing activities, including designing and running test cases to validate software functionality.
- Accurately report and document bugs to support timely resolution and improve product quality.
- Perform regression testing to confirm software stability after updates or fixes.
- Conduct basic API testing using tools such as Postman to verify backend functionality.
- Collaborate with developers to understand software requirements and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Adhere to established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) processes.
- Analyze test results and provide feedback to enhance testing procedures and overall product quality.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of software testing and quality assurance principles.
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques, including test case creation, bug reporting, and regression testing.
- Basic knowledge of API testing and familiarity with tools like Postman.
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fresh graduates with a solid grasp of QA concepts are encouraged to apply.
