Associate Team Lead- Data Engineer

Devsinc is seeking a highly motivated Associate Team Lead - Data Engineer to join our dynamic data team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines that convert raw data into actionable insights, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. Your expertise in data engineering and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams will be essential in shaping our data architecture while ensuring data integrity and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and enhance scalable data pipelines and data models to streamline ETL (extract, transform, load) processes.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver robust data solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Implement validation and testing mechanisms to ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy.
- Utilize cloud services and data warehousing solutions to efficiently store and manage large volumes of data.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production data pipelines, providing timely resolutions to issues impacting data availability.
- Contribute to data governance initiatives by enforcing best practices related to data security, privacy, and compliance.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering to continuously improve our data infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in data engineering or a related role, with a proven track record of building and maintaining data pipelines.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Familiarity with ETL tools and technologies, including Apache Airflow, Talend, or AWS Glue.
- Proficient in programming languages like Python or Scala for data processing tasks.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including their data services.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with storage technologies like Snowflake or Redshift.
- Excellent problem-solving skills focused on data integrity and performance optimization.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across various teams and functions.
- Proactive attitude toward learning new tools and technologies within the data ecosystem.
