Associate Video Editor

We are seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor with a minimum of one year of practical experience in video editing and content creation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of storytelling and visual aesthetics, along with hands-on experience using AI-powered tools to enhance and streamline the video production process. This role requires someone who can transform raw footage into polished, engaging content tailored for various digital platforms and social media channels.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit compelling videos for social media, marketing campaigns, advertisements, and other digital platforms.
- Produce short-form content, including Reels, Shorts, and promotional videos.
- Perform video cutting, transitions, effects, audio synchronization, and color correction to ensure high-quality output.
- Incorporate motion graphics, text animations, subtitles, and visual effects as needed.
- Collaborate closely with creative and marketing teams to understand project goals and deliver accordingly.
- Optimize videos to meet the specifications and best practices of different social media platforms.
- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Utilize AI tools to support video editing, content creation, enhancement, captioning, and workflow automation.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in video editing, AI technologies, and social media content styles to keep work fresh and relevant.

Required Qualifications

- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in video editing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar video editing software.
- Strong understanding of video composition, pacing, storytelling, transitions, and color correction techniques.
- Experience creating videos specifically for social media and marketing purposes.
- Practical experience with AI tools for video editing and content creation such as Runway, Adobe Firefly, CapCut AI, or comparable platforms.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation principles.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
- A strong portfolio or showreel showcasing previous video editing work is highly preferred.
