The role involves executing comprehensive financial, operational, value-based, and special audits as per the annual audit plan. The incumbent will conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of organizational processes, data, reports, and documentation to assess risks and identify improvement opportunities. Responsibilities include documenting workflows through narratives, flowcharts, and manuals, identifying control weaknesses, and recommending corrective actions to enhance efficiency, mitigate risks, and reduce costs. Effective communication with management and the audit team is essential, along with conducting follow-up assessments to ensure audit recommendations are properly implemented.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute financial, operational, value-based, and special audits according to the audit plan.
- Obtain, analyze, and evaluate process documentation, reports, data, and flowcharts.
- Document processes using narratives, flowcharts, and process manuals.
- Identify control weaknesses and recommend measures for risk mitigation and cost savings.
- Conduct follow-up assessments to monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- ACCA certification or a Bachelor’s (Hons) degree from an HEC-recognized institution.
