The Audit Intern role at Usermaven is a full-time, on-site position based in Islamabad. The intern will support audit functions by reviewing financial records, assisting in the analysis of financial statements, and helping to ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant standards. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in a data-driven environment where finance, analytics, and technology intersect.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare working papers and document audit findings accurately.
- Perform basic reconciliations and assist in risk assessments related to financial processes.
- Collaborate effectively with finance and operations teams to gather necessary information.
- Communicate audit observations clearly and assist in drafting reports and recommendations.
- Support compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to internal controls and audit procedures.

Required Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends or irregularities.
- Solid understanding of finance principles and familiarity with financial statements.
- Foundational auditing knowledge, including internal controls and basic audit procedures.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for documenting findings and collaborating with teams.
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, technology-focused environment.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and basic financial software.
