We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to join our team as an Internal Billing Auditor. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of billing, financial, and operational processes within a healthcare setting. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments to enhance billing controls and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough internal audits of billing, financial, and operational procedures to ensure adherence to established policies and controls.
- Review billing records, invoices, claims, and supporting documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Identify and report any billing discrepancies, errors, revenue leakages, and weaknesses in internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with hospital billing policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of internal control.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings and present these to management for review.
- Follow up on audit observations to verify the timely implementation of corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with Billing, Finance, and other relevant departments to strengthen billing controls and improve risk management practices.

Required Qualifications

- Part-qualified CMA/ACCA or a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in auditing or billing, preferably within a healthcare or hospital environment.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills essential for identifying and addressing billing issues.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting or billing software applications.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Knowledge of healthcare billing practices, regulations, and industry standards will be considered an advantage.
- Competitive salary range from Rs 23,125.26 to Rs 104,926.47 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
