We are seeking experienced Autocab Dispatchers and Taxi Booking Operators to join our UK taxi operations team based in Soan Gardens, Islamabad. The successful candidates will have practical experience using the Autocab system to manage taxi bookings, dispatch drivers, handle customer communications, and oversee real-time operations. This full-time, on-site role demands strong communication skills, quick decision-making, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple bookings in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be comfortable working UK shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
Taxi Booking Operations:
- Professionally handle inbound customer calls and provide accurate information.
- Create, modify, and cancel taxi bookings using the Autocab system.
- Provide customers with precise fare estimates, pickup times, and booking confirmations.
- Manage advance bookings, airport transfers, and scheduled journeys.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and booking-related issues promptly.
Autocab Dispatch Operations:
- Monitor live bookings and driver availability through the Autocab dispatch platform.
- Allocate and dispatch jobs efficiently to available drivers.
- Track driver locations, booking progress, and estimated pickup times.
- Manage delayed, unallocated, and time-sensitive bookings effectively.
- Communicate with drivers to resolve operational challenges and booking discrepancies.
- Coordinate with supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.
Customer Service & Operational Support:
- Maintain professional communication with UK customers and drivers at all times.
- Resolve booking issues, driver delays, and customer complaints swiftly.
- Escalate urgent operational matters to the appropriate teams.
- Keep accurate records of bookings and operational data.
- Ensure service quality and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of experience in UK taxi booking or dispatch operations.
- Hands-on experience with the Autocab system is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Autocab booking and dispatch functionalities.
- Strong English verbal communication and listening skills.
- Experience interacting with UK customers and drivers.
- Ability to multitask and manage high call volumes efficiently.
- Good geographical knowledge of UK roads, locations, and airports.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and time-management abilities.
- Good computer literacy and typing speed.
- Willingness to work UK shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Preference will be given to candidates who have previously worked on UK taxi campaigns using Autocab and can independently manage both booking and dispatch operations. Experience handling busy taxi fleets and high booking volumes, along with a solid understanding of airport bookings, pre-booked journeys, and real-time driver allocation, is highly desirable. Candidates who can work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision will be prioritized.
The salary range for this position is PKR 80,000 to 120,000 per month, depending on relevant experience, Autocab proficiency, communication skills, and interview performance. This role is based in Soan Gardens, Islamabad, and requires on-site attendance. Candidates with practical Autocab experience will be given priority during the shortlisting process.
