AutoCAD Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled Interior Design Drafter with 3 to 5 years of experience in the interior design industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and possess strong technical knowledge to prepare detailed architectural and interior design drawings. This role involves collaborating closely with clients to present design drafts and ensuring that final designs meet both aesthetic and functional requirements. The position is full-time and based in Karachi, with relocation assistance available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed specifications using technical knowledge, provided information, and sketch drawings.
- Develop tender, construction, as-built, and shop drawings for architectural and interior design projects.
- Present rough design drafts to clients for review and approval.
- Generate solid and surface CAD models utilizing AutoCAD software.
- Integrate technical precision with aesthetic considerations to produce final design outputs.
- Produce fully coordinated and accurate sets of drawings to support project execution.
- Inspect completed designs to verify alignment with client goals and project requirements.

Required Qualifications

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the interior design or related design industry.
- Expertise in AutoCAD drawing and modeling techniques.
- Strong knowledge of materials and technical specifications relevant to interior design projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for design visualization.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Project management capabilities to oversee design phases and coordinate with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience in producing comprehensive sets of architectural and interior drawings is highly valued.
- Candidates should be willing to reliably commute or relocate to Karachi; a relocation package will be provided by the employer if applicable.
- The position offers a competitive salary starting from Rs70,000 per month.
