Automation Associate - Pakistan Remote

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Process Automation Engineer to join our Automation team. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing internal operational efficiency by identifying, designing, and deploying intelligent automation solutions. Your work will reduce manual tasks, accelerate data analysis, and enable teams to focus on high-value challenges within the blockchain intelligence domain. This position carries significant impact, with the expectation to deliver a portfolio of automations saving a cumulative 80 hours of manual work per week across the company within the first six months. You will utilize a modern toolkit including low-code platforms such as n8n, Make, and Zapier, alongside custom coding in JavaScript and Python, and AI models to solve complex problems. Collaboration with every team in the organization will be key to making the company faster, smarter, and more secure.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the discovery and analysis of business processes across all departments to identify high-impact automation and process re-engineering opportunities.
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable and robust automation workflows using platforms like n8n and Make, extending their capabilities with custom JavaScript or Python when necessary.
- Pioneer the integration of AI within automations by developing agentic workflows, leveraging large language models (LLMs) for tasks such as content summarization and data reconciliation, and implementing evaluation frameworks to measure model effectiveness.
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of automation projects, from ideation and requirements gathering with stakeholders to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in process automation, software development, or a related role, with a proven track record of delivering projects that generate measurable business value.
- Expert proficiency in at least one enterprise-grade low-code/no-code automation platform (e.g., n8n, Make), including a deep understanding of platform limitations and best practices.
- Strong scripting and development skills in JavaScript (Node.js) and/or Python for writing custom logic, data transformation, and API integrations.
- Extensive experience in business process mapping, requirements gathering, and designing scalable, fault-tolerant workflow architectures.
- Demonstrated ability to architect complex, multi-system API integrations and effectively solve related challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborating across teams.
- A proactive and autonomous mindset, able to break down high-level goals into actionable steps and drive projects to completion independently.
