We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to join our team at the Korangi Industrial Area in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have between 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in industrial automation and control systems. This role requires hands-on expertise in developing, modifying, and troubleshooting PLC programs, HMI, and SCADA systems, as well as supporting electrical automation projects and commissioning activities. The successful candidate will work closely with maintenance and project teams to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime of automated equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs, HMI, and SCADA systems to optimize machine and process automation.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to industrial automation, control systems, and machine software.
- Maintain and support industrial communication networks and control systems to ensure reliable performance.
- Perform instrumentation calibration, testing, and fault finding to maintain system accuracy.
- Support process control, machine automation, and process optimization initiatives.
- Execute and assist in electrical automation projects, including commissioning and start-up activities.
- Analyze automation-related problems and implement effective corrective solutions.
- Collaborate closely with maintenance and project teams to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.
- Support preventive maintenance programs and contribute to continuous improvement efforts for automation systems.
- Ensure minimal downtime through timely troubleshooting and corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Proven experience in industrial automation, including PLC, SCADA, HMI, and instrumentation systems.
- Hands-on experience with machine controls, automation troubleshooting, and commissioning processes.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills to address complex automation challenges.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
