Automation Engineer

Orange Tree Systems is seeking a talented Automation Engineer with 3 to 5 years of professional experience to join their team in Lahore. This full-time position operates on a night shift schedule and requires onsite presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions that span web portals, desktop applications, and cloud infrastructure. A strong focus on enterprise workflow optimization and healthcare compliance is essential, particularly experience working with healthcare platforms and adhering to HIPAA standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation scripts and bots for complex web-based applications, dashboards, and portals.
- Streamline and automate both legacy and modern desktop applications using advanced Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools.
- Deploy, manage, and scale cloud-based automation workloads and infrastructure.
- Architect secure automation pipelines that comply with HIPAA regulations, leveraging hands-on experience with healthcare platforms such as BestRx, Cerner (Oracle Health), eClinicalWorks, or athenahealth.
- Implement web testing and scraping frameworks to ensure reliable end-to-end automation execution.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and manage secure data persistence using relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.

Required Qualifications

- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in automation engineering, software development, or RPA.
- Strong proficiency in Python and UiPath; familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism is advantageous.
- Experience with web automation and scraping tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or BeautifulSoup/Requests.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
- Solid understanding of SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and REST API integration.
- In-depth knowledge of data privacy and HIPAA compliance related to sensitive enterprise and healthcare data.
- Ability to work night shifts and commute to the Lahore office.
