Automations Developer

Marbill, a fast-growing brand within the Luna Group, is looking for a skilled AI & Automation Developer to join their fully remote engineering team. You will work alongside a diverse group of professionals from over 30 countries, contributing to the development of intelligent workflows that drive their multi-tenant SaaS platform. Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain automated workflows and background processes that support e-commerce and AI-driven operations. Develop and manage deep integrations with third-party platforms using APIs and webhooks to ensure smooth data exchange. Implement event-driven architectures, including message queues and background job processing, to handle asynchronous, high-volume tasks. Integrate AI/LLM pipelines into automated triggers, transforming static AI models into autonomous agents for tasks such as automated ticket resolution and smart routing. Build scalable backend microservices and scripts using Node.js/Express, optimizing database interactions with MySQL for performance at scale. Manage automation infrastructure on AWS with an Infrastructure-as-Code approach, ensuring reliable deployment and environment consistency. Maintain data integrity and enforce robust multi-tenant SaaS data isolation across all automated workflows and synchronization processes. Collaborate with full-stack teams to provide end-users with access to automation controls and detailed logging.

Required Qualifications
Proven experience as a Backend or Automation Developer, specializing in building custom integrations, workflows, and scheduled jobs using Node.js. Strong expertise in consuming and creating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and secure webhook handling. Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as n8n, Make, or custom engines is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with asynchronous processing technologies including Redis, message brokers like RabbitMQ or AWS SQS, and job queues such as BullMQ. Solid knowledge of MySQL database management at scale, including query optimization and indexing for efficient logging and retrieval of automation states. Practical experience integrating AI/LLM pipelines (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini) within automated workflows, along with a basic understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts. Strong AWS cloud skills, particularly with EKS and Helm, combined with proficiency in Git-based CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Docker) for automation deployment. In-depth understanding of multi-tenant SaaS architectures and data isolation best practices.
