Azure Administrator

IT Guiders is seeking an experienced Azure Administrator to join our growing team in Lahore. This full-time, on-site position requires working EST hours and offers the opportunity to contribute to building and maintaining secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for global clients. Key Responsibilities

- Manage and Optimize: Provision Azure resources, configure virtual networks, and maintain resilient cloud environments adhering to industry best practices.
- Secure and Protect: Implement robust security controls, manage disaster recovery strategies, backups, and enforce Zero Trust security principles to safeguard infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and Resolve: Monitor system performance proactively, identify and fix configuration conflicts, service outages, and connectivity issues to ensure high availability.
- Collaborate and Document: Work closely with cross-functional engineering and security teams to align on infrastructure goals while maintaining clear, detailed runbooks and documentation for operational consistency.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Cloud Administration, specifically with Azure resource management, virtual machines, storage solutions, and networking components, alongside traditional system administration skills.
- Strong expertise in network security, including firewalls, VPNs, role-based access control (RBAC), and identity management.
- Proficiency with automation and monitoring tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics for efficient infrastructure management.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and document processes clearly.
