Azure Data Engineer (ADF + Databricks)

Traxccel, a leading data and AI services firm catering to mid-market and Fortune 500 companies in the Energy and Industrials sectors, is seeking a skilled Azure Data Engineer to join their team in Karachi. This full-time, on-site position involves working closely with various business units to design, develop, and maintain data solutions that drive strategic and operational initiatives. The role focuses on leveraging Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks to build robust data pipelines, perform data modeling, and support data warehousing and analytics efforts.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
- Design and maintain scalable data models and data warehouses to support business intelligence and analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows to ensure high availability and performance.
- Support data analytics initiatives by providing clean, well-structured data for reporting and analysis.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data engineering and cloud technologies.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in data engineering, data modeling, and ETL development.
- Strong proficiency in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks platforms.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data analytics.
- Expertise in SQL and data querying techniques.
- Good grasp of data management principles and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Azure or data engineering are highly desirable.
