Back End Developer

Bright Byte is seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves building and scaling reliable backend systems using Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript. The successful candidate will focus on developing APIs, microservices, and data-intensive services that support a growing mid-sized engineering organization. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.
- Build and maintain microservices-based architectures.
- Develop scalable RESTful and event-driven APIs.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and OpenSearch.
- Design efficient data models and optimize database performance.
- Implement real-time and event-driven systems using MQTT.
- Ensure backend systems are secure, scalable, and reliable.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams.
- Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend or full-stack development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js.
- Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience building services with NestJS or similar Node.js frameworks.
- Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL.
- Familiarity with DynamoDB, OpenSearch, or comparable technologies.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, messaging systems, and distributed systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, mid-sized company environment.
