BangoPure Limited is looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to join our dynamic global team on a full-time remote basis. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Utilize Java and Spring Boot to build robust backend applications.
- Optimize database performance using PostgreSQL and Redis.
- Implement event-driven solutions with Apache Kafka or similar platforms.
- Architect and maintain microservices and distributed systems.
- Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines following DevOps best practices.
- Ensure system design supports scalability, high availability, and performance optimization.
- Implement security best practices including authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Lead technical efforts by mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and contributing to architectural decisions.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and deliver quality solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in backend software engineering or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Redis, including database optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka or similar event-streaming technologies.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Practical knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
- Expertise in system design focused on scalability, performance, and availability.
- Experience implementing security protocols including authentication and authorization.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring and technical decision-making.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GraphQL and API Gateway technologies.
- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Event-Driven Architecture.
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Participation in architecture discussions and technical strategy formulation.
