We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Backend Engineer Interns who are passionate about building web applications and eager to develop their backend development skills. This internship is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or those nearing the completion of their degree, with a basic understanding of programming concepts, to gain hands-on experience by working on real-world projects in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining backend applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Work with RESTful APIs and integrate backend services with frontend applications to ensure seamless functionality.
- Write and optimize basic database queries, primarily using MySQL.
- Support the implementation of business logic, validation rules, and authentication mechanisms within applications.
- Debug issues, fix bugs, and contribute to improving application performance under the guidance of senior developers.
- Adhere to coding standards and actively participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.
- Collaborate effectively with frontend developers, QA engineers, and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or currently in the final stages of completing the degree.
- Basic knowledge of PHP, object-oriented programming (OOP), and fundamental web development concepts.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
- Basic experience with MySQL and relational database management.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a genuine willingness to learn and grow professionally.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information:
- Hands-on experience with Laravel gained through academic projects, personal initiatives, or internships is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with MVC architecture, Eloquent ORM, database migrations, and Laravel routing will be advantageous.
- Basic understanding of API authentication and integration techniques is a plus.
- While experience with Laravel is beneficial, it is not mandatory for candidates who have a solid foundation in PHP and demonstrate eagerness to learn new technologies.
