Key Responsibilities
The Baker at Cafe Madeline will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, cookies, pastries, and desserts to meet daily service and catering demands. This includes mixing doughs and batters, monitoring proofing and baking times, and decorating and finishing baked goods to maintain consistent quality and presentation. The role requires maintaining a clean and organized workstation while adhering to food safety standards. Additionally, the baker will manage inventory of baking ingredients and collaborate closely with the kitchen and barista teams to support menu items and specials. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lahore, requiring early morning or shift-based availability.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should have strong foundational skills in bakery operations and baking, with the ability to consistently produce high-quality baked goods. Hands-on experience in food preparation, including accurate measuring, mixing, and safe ingredient handling, is essential. Proficiency in producing and finishing cookies and other small baked items to cafe standards is required. The ability to prepare, proof, and bake bread with careful attention to texture, flavor, and presentation is important. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, along with familiarity with commercial baking equipment, is necessary.
