The Fuel Espresso is looking for an experienced and skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of coffee preparation, a dedication to quality, and the ability to consistently deliver excellent coffee beverages. This role requires a coffee professional who is passionate about their craft and committed to maintaining high standards in every cup served.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality espresso-based drinks and other coffee beverages following established recipes and standards.
- Demonstrate expertise in espresso extraction, grinder calibration, milk steaming, and latte art.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines and other coffee equipment efficiently to ensure smooth service.
- Maintain consistency in beverage quality, taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Keep the coffee station clean, hygienic, and well-organized at all times.
- Monitor coffee inventory levels and communicate stock requirements promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service and contribute positively to a professional café environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional barista experience.
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, espresso techniques, and beverage preparation.
- Practical experience working with commercial espresso machines and grinders.
- Good communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
- A professional attitude, willingness to learn, and a genuine passion for coffee.
