Barista

Zoom Marketing Oils is seeking a dedicated Barista to join its team in Lahore on a full-time, on-site basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffees and teas, while adhering to established recipes and quality standards. This role requires operating coffee equipment, handling light food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the service area, and managing inventory to ensure supplies are adequately stocked. The Barista will also engage directly with customers by taking orders, processing payments accurately, and delivering courteous and efficient service in a fast-paced environment. Collaboration with team members to maintain hygiene and safety standards is essential, as is fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, following company recipes and quality guidelines.
- Operate coffee machines and related equipment safely and efficiently.
- Handle food preparation for light snacks, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders clearly, and process payments accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked service area throughout the shift.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold cleanliness, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly and professionally to customer needs and inquiries.

Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to engage positively with a diverse clientele and team members.
- Effective communication skills for taking orders clearly, explaining menu items, and coordinating with colleagues.
- Proficiency in barista skills, including operating coffee machines and preparing quality espresso-based beverages.
- Basic food preparation skills with an understanding of hygiene and safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods during shifts.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to shift schedules, and comply with company policies and procedures.
