EZ MD Solutions, a healthcare outsourcing company based in Rawalpindi, is looking for a Billing Executive with 1 to 2 years of experience in US medical billing and revenue cycle management (RCM). This full-time, onsite position involves collaborating closely with US healthcare providers to manage the billing cycle efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely payments. The role requires working the US night shift, typically from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM Pakistan Time. Candidates must demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple medical practices simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire billing cycle for assigned practices, including charge entry, payment posting, and follow-up activities.
- Create, review, and submit clean claims to commercial payers and Medicare.
- Verify claim status and patient eligibility using payer portals such as Availity.
- Analyze denied and rejected claims, identify causes, correct errors, and resubmit claims promptly.
- Prepare and submit appeals when necessary to ensure claim reimbursement.
- Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable (AR) to reduce aging balances and improve cash flow.
- Review CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, modifier, and POS codes on claims to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain clear and detailed documentation of all account activities within EHR/EMR and practice management systems.
- Identify billing issues early and escalate them appropriately to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Meet daily and weekly productivity and quality targets consistently.
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations to protect patient information confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in US medical billing and revenue cycle management.
- Strong understanding of the complete medical billing cycle and related processes.
- Experience working directly with US healthcare providers or medical practices.
- Basic knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, modifiers, and POS coding standards.
- Practical experience with EHR/EMR and practice management software platforms.
- Proficiency in using payer portals such as Availity and other commercial or Medicare portals.
- Demonstrated ability to manage claim denials and appeals effectively.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and patient privacy standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with clear and accurate documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and practices while meeting strict deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience handling complex or aged accounts receivable is an advantage.
- Ability to independently identify and resolve billing issues without supervision.
- Familiarity with software platforms such as Kareo, AdvancedMD, or eClinicalWorks is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline is desirable.
The role offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs60,000 to Rs80,000. Candidates must be prepared to work onsite in Rawalpindi and reliably commute or relocate before joining.
