EZ MD Solutions, a healthcare outsourcing company based in Rawalpindi, is seeking a Billing Executive with 1 to 2 years of experience in US medical billing and revenue cycle management (RCM). The role involves working onsite during US night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM PKT) to support multiple US healthcare practices. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the medical billing cycle, including claims processing, payment posting, denial management, and accounts receivable follow-up. This position requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring timely and accurate revenue cycle operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full billing cycle for assigned practices, from charge entry through payment posting and follow-up.
- Create, review, and submit clean claims to commercial payers and Medicare.
- Monitor claim status and patient eligibility using payer portals such as Availity.
- Analyze denied and rejected claims, identify causes, correct errors, and resubmit claims.
- Prepare and submit appeals when necessary.
- Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable to reduce aging balances.
- Verify CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, modifier, and POS codes on claims for accuracy.
- Maintain detailed notes and records of all account activities within EHR/EMR and practice management systems.
- Identify billing issues early and escalate them appropriately.
- Achieve daily and weekly productivity and quality targets.
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations to protect patient information.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of experience in US medical billing and revenue cycle management.
- Strong understanding of the complete medical billing process.
- Experience working with US healthcare providers or medical practices.
- Basic knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, modifiers, and POS coding.
- Proficiency with EHR/EMR and practice management software.
- Familiarity with payer portals such as Availity and other commercial or Medicare portals.
- Experience handling claim denials and preparing appeals.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient privacy standards.
- Good command of written and spoken English, with clear and accurate documentation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle multiple practices and tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience managing complex or aged accounts receivable.
- Ability to independently identify and resolve billing issues.
- Familiarity with software such as Kareo, AdvancedMD, or eClinicalWorks.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is an advantage.
This is a full-time, onsite position based in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Candidates must be willing to reliably commute or relocate before starting work. The working hours align with US night shifts, typically from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM Pakistan Time. The monthly salary range is PKR 60,000 to 80,000.
